Gasp! Where in the H3LL did you find those? Too pretty to dive though. Super Nice!

Hey George, e-bay at the right place and time I guess. I am sorry, but they will be dove this weekend. If I could have found another set, I would have siliconed them up and packed them away for 20 years. I guess you just have to keep an eye out.georgeaustin wrote: ↑Mon Mar 05, 2018 8:11 pmRuss

Sounds like I overpaid.
Maybe I should make a "Tri-Master', sort of a poor man's Phoenix.simonbeans wrote: ↑Sat Apr 14, 2018 8:30 pmOne nice thing is that the mechanism will fit into a USD 2 stage can.
I have rebuilt three to original condition and I thought they breathed rather well. If you run into problems (very rare) with the first stage seat being gorped out, you can do a direct replacement with a 1960s-70s Voit MR-12 first stage. The new silicon repro 2nd stage actuator diaphragm works well with this reg. (Bryan and Rob both have them available). I disagree with Alan in that It's not the size of the 2nd stage diaphragm, but how you tweak it ( the second stage) to get the best breathing results IMO. I set the 1st stages at 130 psi approximately. It's not the size of the can, but what it's packing (this correlates with the BS adage of "It's not the size of the ship, but the motion of the ocean." LOL! Just remember that Trieste haters DO EXIST! The truth is OUT THERE! SEE ABOVE!!! Trieste Haters are just mad that Voit stopped making full size cans during the Trieste era. AND THAT' BE DA TRUTH! A great STEAL for a buck, bye the way.ScubaLawyer wrote: ↑Sat Apr 14, 2018 2:27 pmIn the dollar bin at the local flea market.
Never rebuilt one of these before. How are they in breathing ease?
