Vintage Double Hose

We are quickly approaching Scuba Heritage Days at White Star. Plan on being there. I am sure the Cow will arrive 5 days early and leave half way through the first day, but the rest of us will be there starting the Friday before and leaving the afternoon of Sunday . Many of us will be staying at the palatial Days Inn in Bowling Green. Come with all your vintage scuba junk and dive, trade, sell, and collect.

Ok my room reservation at the Days Inn Palatial Estate Hilton for Old Farts in Bowling Green is now set. I will be there on Thursday night and diving with the Cow MOOOOOOOOOOO on Friday. I am bringing my trailer and it will have a lot of goodies in it for sale. No reasonable offer refused. Regs, tanks etc. and some uniques gauges and maybe even a Voit Reg or two. I am looking forward to this event being held in August as it is a great time of the year for diving at White Star and the viz has been really good. Hope to see many of the same folks we have seen before and maybe some new ones. Van FrankOOOOOOOO

I've heard through the scuba grapevine that some very very rare vintage goodies will be there on Saturday. Now I wonder what this will be. Maybe the cow is bringing the Voit Scuba scooter????
I'll also be bringing my Andrea Doria collection for display. Lots of information books and artifacts to look at and maybe even touch!

How about those interested in going chirping up here!. Would like to get a list of those interested in coming.

Chirp, chirp..... Yeah, interested in making the voyage and I have it on the calendar. It's still a work in progress though.

It's going to be a challenging summer for White Star so let's bring our A game and be great ambassadors.

Diver Fatalities at White Star

Diana and I are looking forward to seeing y'all again!

We have one smallish problem. My sister's 50th wedding anniversary party is on Saturday afternoon.
We're planning to drive down to BG after the party, arriving maybe midnight Saturday.
I know you'll all wait up LOL.

I have lots to sell and trade. I'll bring the truck and maybe trailer too.
Many things that you've not seen.

But obviously we'll really only be around for Sunday.
Is the Vintage Gear Swap meet on Sunday as it used to be at Portage?
Is it worth my while coming down if we're only there for Sunday?

I suppose the good thing is that SeaHuntJerry will be gone by then! (Kidding Jerry. Kidding!).

Whenever I read in the papers about a diving accident you can always count on the reporter using the words "ran out of oxygen" instead of air. I have also seen it in a lot of official accident reports by investigators that also know little about investigating diving incidents.

The Cow will probably have left Alec., but all of us diehards will be there on Sunday. Please come on down. We would love to see you both. I may even buy all your stuff.
