I'm driving up Friday and will stop and see if anyone's still at Golboa on my way to the hotel. Looking forward to seeing everyone. It's been too long. Getting old sucks..

Well sh*t. Looks like I can't make it after all. Just getting over a bad cold so I'd be fine by then, but just spent the night in the ER with my wife who was in an accident. She will be ok but little ol' me needs to take care of her for a while, plus we are still in Hawaii and won't know what the storm passing through So. Cal. is doing to our house there until I get back to California on Thursday. My neighbors are not painting a pleasant picture.

Hope everyone has a good time. I tried.

Mark
It looks like I am in a similar situation. I just cancel our hotel reservations.
Christine should be OK, recovering from Covid, but it may take time...

I also hope everyone has a good time.

Luis,

Sorry to hear about Christine. Hope she gets better soon. I was really looking forward to seeing everyone again and trading the usual lies and boasts.

Mark

Sitting in the campground across the street from the quarry. I'm looking forward to put some faces to the conversations I've had over the years.

Many thanks for taking me on a little swim tour! I really enjoyed the friendship of a really great group of folks. My first meet up with you all, and it I really felt welcome.

Bob, My pleasure, I'm only sad that I didn't have more are in the tanks; and yes, you have tapped into one of the greatest group of folks you will ever find. Just a bunch of crazy vintage divers who eschew the modern world for the nostalgic 1950s - 1970s day of underwater adventure.

I am going to make it my mission to meet Bob in person one of these days. Sounds like he fits right in to the outcasts we all are!

That he does, in a big [like 6' 4" or 6'5"] way. Very much a St. Lawrence / Great Lakes diver. If you can dive the Great Lakes, you can dive anywhere. Very glad he found our merry band of mischief makers.

Barb and I counted up the people that came to honor Bryan and we stopped at over 30! That is a very high number I think especially with all the last minute drop outs. The weather could not have been better. IN fact this may have been the first time with had a Heritage or Legends that we did not get rain ha ha. I think Bryan was looking out for us in his words as "a shitty cold ass Ohio quarry!" While it was a very sad reason to get together it was great to see and meet all of you all. We had a fantastic showing of Krakens in one place, most with red hoses. I think Bryan appreciates you all for the continued support of all he tried to do for the diving world.
