New Aluminum 72s

Mon Dec 21, 2009 4:16 pm

I just saw on the XS scuba site that Catalina is now offering a 72 cuft aluminum tank and it's 6.9" in diameter like the originals.

What is the psi rating of these tanks? If 3000 or more, I imagine that would limit their use with many vintage regulators..

Guess I should have clarified that. Regs tuned to 2500 psi might not always play nice with HP cylinders..
