Awesome article, and thanks for sharing Just a note on the earlier cast body DA regulators from Aqualung. My green label had every feature of your CG-45 except it did have an adjustable intermediate pressure via the two piece screw. I sold my green label to another forum member, but it was very early and came with a metal mouthpiece as well. Apparently the earliest DA regulators, the black, red, and some green label were much more CG-45 like. The blue label, to my knowledge was where the forged body, new angles, etc came in.

I love these old regs man. I have a Navy type DA that I still use . I've had 2 green labels and 2 blue labels. Really now, I'm just looking for a black label or a Spaco.

It is about the strange lack of upgrading between a Trademark and a CG45 both made about the same time in 1954. Cool read.
