Speaking of critters not reacting so much to a double hose regulator, I demonstrated that to a fellow on a dive recently as he refused to accept it as truth, so I swam up to and photographed a slumbering turtle resting after an egg laying session and the turtle payed me no mind at all. As soon as the other fellow with his full face mask and bubble maker got within six feet, he was gone :( . He approached another, first this time and again he was gone. The next one, I approached, same result as previous, no reaction until the other fellow moved in and again the turtle was gone. The fellow was not especially friendly and I did not like him scaring the critters so the next dive I went solo which was fine with the captain.
