Vintage Compressor

Fri Jun 22, 2012 10:54 am

Vintage Cornelius compressor made from scratch using 1957 Popular Mechanics plans. Head/filter from WWII bomber. Frame and motor new. Pumped around 1 CFM and took one hour forty minutes to fill a steel 72. Bullet proof and flawless, just incredibly slow. Sold last year to upgrade. Jim Sheldon was a big help on this project. I have complete conversion plans if anyone needs them. Enjoy... 8)

Finding vintage military compressor heads / non built up, requires scounging. They do appear on e-bait from time to time. Perhaps I should move this thread to the compressor section....

It is best to know more about digital cameras if you are to take advantage of the advance technology they offer. Digital cameras are modern gadgets, no doubt.
