Hey Fred, those hoses are about 7 years old and have seen a lot of use and sunlight. They are still very supple. I think they are neoprene. Might be infused with kryptonite and alien DNA too. The hoses on the 50 Fathom are silicone.8dust wrote:Mark,
What's the story on the hoses for the Polaris... just old and faded? or are they actually this color?
If they're really this perished, I'm surprised they are supple enough to dive...

The mask I had to use for the 2nd day of diving wasn't working well for me as you see me having to clear the mask a bunch and the barrel rolls would send water splashing across my face.

Fantastic photo. I agree that in this instance color is the the better choice.ScubaLawyer wrote:Messing around with Photoshop.
I asked my girlfriend who rode in one of the glass bottom boats if she could hear the spearguns. She said "no" but she also said there were a bunch of people talking too so it was noisy.couv wrote:Ron,
Stationing your camera was a great idea as evidenced by the wonderful film. (yes, I still use the archaic term)
Please send a link to your newspaper article when it's available.
Can anyone confirm whether or not the folks in the glass-bottomed boats could hear the spear guns discharge?
Thank you again for all your help.
Let us know if they print the photo Eben..SurfLung wrote:SheriffDiver wrote:

Mike, good to hear from you. Didn't see any Amphibicars but Wayne from Amigos arrived in his powered canoe or whatever that skinny floating contraption he was on is called. Cheers, Big Mike

Not being familiar with FB, I was getting a bit impatient and discouraged. After the first few days following the event a handful of pictures appeared only to dwindle to a trickle. However, in the last couple of days a gaggle of excellent photos has appeared.simonbeans wrote:There are more photos on the Sea Hunt Forever members only website.
