This is a video I made of Rob diving the cave at Alexander Springs in Florida during Sand Dog XII.

I can only imagine the fallout if this would have been posted anywhere else..... The internet divers would have a field day with this!

Did Rob just invent the new sport of Cave Free Diving?

Great video editing there once again Jim. I had swum through the cave many times the direction that you see me do with the tank ahead of me, but never had I gone the opposite way. If you watch closely when I swim through I go off through a dead end and have to back up before finding the correct passage. The cave is too narrow to turn around and swim back the way you came.
I was using the new INTOVA camera available from VDH and as you can see it does really well. I may just have to upgrade to one myself.

While we were there, there was a free diver working the spring. He was going through the cave too. He was fun to watch. I could never hold my breath that long, even 40 years ago. LOL
