I know divers were photographing me when I was diving clad only in a swim suit. UDT approved of course. Then again, that may be too scary to submit! LOL

Robb's T-Shirts get around.
Checked out the So. Cal. beach diving Saturday - verdict: yucky. Did the natural next best thing - ---
Had a number of people come up to me and ask if I was Beau Bridges. Not sure there is any resemblance there but people see what they want to see.
One lady kept insisting it was John Wayne who played Mike Nelson between gulps of her light beer. I really wanted to respond (borrowing from Hobson in 'Arthur'): Thank you for a memorable afternoon, funny that I had to go to a bowling alley to meet a woman of your stature. However, I managed to keep my responses civil.

@ScubaLawyer
Mark, the beach diving was Monday, 11 April.
Fishermans Cove / Boat Canyon was spectacular in the morning - even with the low tide.

Not sure where this post goes, but it is Sea Hunt related. I still have my “SEA HUNT” plate but my wife just got me this one for our new car. The clerk at the Department of Motor Vehicles asked what it meant. I said it had a number of meanings. It referred to me being a fan of the 1958-61 TV show; Hunter is the name of my son; and most of all, it refers to my love of hunting down and killing defenseless sea creatures for food. She said she thought that was horrible. I said, “Don’t you like lobster?” Oh, yes, she says, “I love eating lobster.” I ask, “Where do you think lobster comes from?” She says, “the restaurant of course.” At that point I simply gave up.

Sea Hunt Forever T-Shirt spotted at Avalon Dive Park on Catalina Island.

We went to Avalon for the weekend for my wife's birthday. I had planned on creating havoc among the So Cal natives by diving pure vintage at the Dive Park in Catalina but I came down with a lousy head cold so couldn't dive. My son took this pic of me and my Sea Hunt shirt in front of the Casino. The second pic shows divers lined up on the fancy stairs at the dive park. Note the political correctness as no one is going down the empty "up" staircase. Don't want to offend anyone. Much better to line up like good little minions following the preaching of their dive instructors. Ok, I'll stop ranting now.
