Wow! I'm green with envy!

Will they be testing against contemporary regs? Could the HPR be thrown in as well? :D

Regulator testing is not performed with dozens of regulators all hooked to the machine at one time competing to see who crosses the finish line 1st.

Each regulator is put through standardized testing. By comparing the results you can see how one stacks up against the other. Many companies no longer publish their results and for good reasons in some cases. The Phoenix has been tested at The Dive Lab before along with a Royal and a Broxton era regulator.

Photos from our last visit to The Dive Lab. Bernie has gone out of his way to make our trip to PCB a memorable one!

One of the challenges was making a custom mouthpiece so two hose regulators could be attached to the testing equipment.

Thanks Everybody,
But I think all the credit goes to Lt Medical Corp Paul Algra Diving Medical Officer(DMO) USN from NEDU's Medical Department and my long time friend and dive buddy of 40 years Terry "TK" Davis, Commander (SEAL) USN (ret) for joining us for giving us a very detailed tour and explanation of how the Naval Experimental Unit works.
