You guys look great in your yellow shirts!

Never having stayed in Cozumel before, I can't compare any other operations with Scuba Club Cozumel, but they were excellent. Food was great, the people were so nice, and you could get a dive in practically any time you wanted. They were very accommodating and reasonably priced. We did look great in our yellow shirts too!
What a view from our balcony.......... such wonderful sunsets!

Luis, in your 2nd photo, there's a diver using a singlehose with a weight integrated BC.

What were other people's general reaction to all those double-hose regs on this particular trip?

That is Andrew… He is from Maine.

I met several of the dive masters on my last trip and they thought the double hose regulators were cool. Ariel (one of the best dive master I have ever met) actually dove one of my Pegasus this time.

Some of the other divers on the resort also thought our equipment was interesting. The girl with the purple accent on her wet suit was not in our group. The regulator she is trying with the grey hoses is actually the Pegasus that I dove most of the week.

In a way, I hope this becomes a future gathering spot for vintage divers.

As you can see on the board, we had our own boat for most of the week.

All the meals were included at the resort and for the most part we could sit together as a group.
There are plenty of places to gather and hang around as a group. The court yards offer a very relaxed place to spend time with a group.

The dives were great. We had morning boat dives and you could dive from shore 24/7… (I think Rob tried ). The dive masters are super and the boat crew very helpful, but totally respect your gear.

This is a true dive resort… not a resort that offers diving.

The people are great. We walked around town and the small town of San Miguel is just very comfortable. It helps that they speak my native language, but English is spoken by many and they truly cater to dive tourist.

IMO, the prices are also some of the best in the Caribbean. Since we have to fly, it is actually cheaper for us to spend a week in Cozumel than in Florida.

We will definitely continue to go back.

I already have plans for a return trip next fall. We are returning to Scuba Club Cozumel and I am planning on having a larger vintage diving group.

It is going to be a week of some of the best diving in the Caribbean for less that it would cost you most anywhere else.

Email me (please no PM) if you are interested and I will share more details.

I will start a new thread soon.
Space is limited so make your reservation early. We will probably have again a boat for our group.

Allan: I just viewed your video and just love it! I think that dive was one of the best we did while we were there. I think you did a great job too.
