I am not sure why you wanted one Jerry? Don't you have like 20 of them new in the box already?

Big Turn Out Expected...
- I've seen the email replies from divers confirming to attend this last-of-season Vintage Dive. It looks like we'll have good attendance.
- The dive is at Square Lake and folks will be arriving between 10:00AM - 1:00PM. I guess we're going to try for a group photo sometime in that time frame.
- Also, I recently got a GoPro Hero video camera and will be doing some underwater video as well as above water pictures and video. I hope to put something together to post here after the dive.
- Square Lake used to be 25-30 ft visibility when I dove it in the '70s. I dove it this spring before the lake turned over and it was a good 15 ft... Still very good visibility for a lake. Should be a fun get together and vintage dive. :D

WILL DO Rob... I already have an idea for a VDH Parade video shot. I'm going to set the camera on a weighted tripod and have all the divers swim by for a close-up! Should be neat if it turns out! :D

Square Lake Vintage... The Video!
Image
http://youtu.be/eMoqwTrmibk
- We all had a great time at the Square Lake Vintage dive. The close locale made it easy for busy folks to fit it in and we had several divers coming and going throughout the day (myself included).
- This video is of pretty much every diver that I encountered underwater... Some identified and others not. My son-in-law Nick gets the "Most Photogenic" prize with yellow hoses, harness, weights, and a blue trimmed "Aqua-Lung" wet suit!
- Great diving and great new aquaintences... I met and visited with some really good guys and learned some new things, too. :D

- Yes we sure had a great time. And yes Drado, that was me laughing. That little camera picks up a lot of sound thru the housing underwater. The visibility was actually not bad for a Minnesota lake. Lots of us out there kicking up silt didn't help. Nick and I came upon the vertical tail of an airplane but it was sticking out of a cloud of silt and we never saw the rest of the plane!
- Sorry I got no topside photos. There were some folks taking pictures but we didn't get in on any shots of the full group. Jerry's numbers look about right to me... We had a really good turn out and lots of interesting vintage equipment to see.
