I am so bummed. I would loved to have dived with you gentlemen. I am scheduled to speak at the Law School on Saturday and one doesn't cancel on those opportunities without serious backlash.

Keep me posted on your next visit!! Have fun, ScubaLady

No, hired by lawyers. I am a Digital Forensics Expert. They are having me in to talk about recovering computer information in litigated matters.

Sort of like Pauley Perrette's character "Abby" on NCIS?

I wish. She is one of my favorite characters on T.V. I focus on computers, servers, cell phones, etc. Anything containing electronically stored information. I don't do the traditional forensics (blood splatter, fingerprints, DNA, etc.). I do have a cool lab, though :D :D

Ok, sorry to hijack the thread, but.................. Greg, Gary Reece, Peanutking, his family, and I all descended on Blue Springs yesterday. It was a beautiful day and the water was about 73 degrees to about 26 feet! Gary had his awesome concave bottom rene double 63s and I had my beloved non leaking triples! Gary and Greg made it an all Voit day with POLARIS regs and I dived the DIVAIR on the 1st 2 dives and the FX GREEN MACHINE on the 3rd. Peanutking and family were diving PRAMS and FXs as I recall. Six 2 hoses regs going at once in an Indiana Quarry...........Not too shabby for a late Sept day, says I. Gary brought his video camera and we all took turns behind the lense. I cannot wait to see the edited product as I expect that the JELLYFISH will be awesome on video. That is right folks JELLYFISH as far as the eye can see! I have seen them before at the quarry, but this was by far the most I have ever seen at one time. There must have been thousands! I think Greg got stung several times, just kidding. Total dive time for Greg and I was 3 hours and 1 minute with a max depth of 30 feet. We were not wearing gloves or hoods so below the thermocline was not nice, I am just saying.

Thanks to Gary for the hard work on the video and also to Greg for the still camera work. I expcet that they will be chiming in soon. It was a BANG at Blue Springs!

Thanks also to Peanutking and others that came. It always makes it a more funner time when friends join us! Without friends it is jsut a dirty quarry.

As Rob described, we had a great time. Spending a beautiful Saturday with friends, and enjoying some diving action is always an awesome way to kick-back and relax. The visibility was a good 25-30' in most areas above the thermocline, and the fish were really active.

My photos were made using my "old" Olympus camera/housing with only 3.2mg. Someday, when the kids finish college, I want to get a "real" camera like my buddies Karl and Allan!

It won't be long before we are making our local dives in dry suits. Oh, well, spring is just nine months away...

It looks like the silver version of my triples.....VERY NICE....Gary has all the best stuff!
Doing it right should include some common sense, not just blindly following specs and instructions. .Gary D, AWAP on SB

Hi Nem! The rig is a USD twin harness pack with a Voit VTK Manifold on twin 40's. Had a great time with Rob and Gregg as usual. Thanks guys for the tour of Blue Springs! "We be really jellin' there!" with the fresh water jelly fish!
Now, I just need time to work on all the underwater videos shot this past year.
