..................................................................I'm excited to take it reef diving. I'm positive the weirdness is gonna keep those grubby little "helpful" DM hands off my stuff. And I can't wait to take it diving with one of my UTD sidemount diving friends and watch him develop a nervous twitch.
I only had an SPG plugged in, so inflator or octo so I still have some playing around to do but I think 40" loosely bungee'd octo is gonna be easiest.
Don't turn you back on any DM that has not been plainly told "HANDS OFF OF MY STUFF". A lot of us have had "helpful" DMs adjust our regs without us knowing it. It's a PITA to get down 30 ft and realize something is off. A VDH member had a DM damage his reg recently, twisted a Phoenix and damaged a seal- nothing that could not be fixed on the bench but ended diving it for the day. Most of the time it's just moving the BC to where they are use to seeing it. Many times the BC does not set well in a boat tank holder which is what flags them to "help"
Wait till you dive with us, it's common for us to not have a BC, much less the other stuff, that really freaks out the DIR/UTD types.
