If you find out that they are not available in metal I would remove the current plastic ones and go without the tubes until you find or make new ones (JMO). They are there to help prevent foreign matter that may exist in the cylinder from entering the valve and your regulator when inverted. So keep the inside of your cylinders clean, free of loose rust particles and dry, and you should be fine for temporary use.tall78 wrote:I have an old twin valve with plastic dip tubes. Are you telling me that I can get new tubes from Aqualung, still today? Great, now how do I get in touch with them?
