Thanks for the write up Bernie. Timely for me as I am in the process of getting a set of triples and was pondering the best way to remove the valves.

Glad to help,BTW the triple tool also works on the manifold elbows...be very careful you don't want to crack the sweated joints on the center section of the manifold (probably sweated with lead apox 50 years ago!)
