Tank banging valve

Sun Jun 06, 2010 10:53 pm

I have a USD valve that is supposed to bang the tank when low but I have never put it on a tank. Anyone ever use one of these? Any down side to these? Are they a pain to listen to while diving?

That type of valve used with a Scubapro MKVII are a favorite of spearfishermen worldwide....
Doing it right should include some common sense, not just blindly following specs and instructions. .Gary D, AWAP on SB

Hi,
I have three of these valves and they can be annoying to listen to.
You can attach a pull rod and use it to signal your buddy also.
Good for low vis water or to keeep track of an air hog buddy.
