Hello all,

My 90 year-old father recently passed. While going through his stuff I found these masks. I remember him using them. Any idea what year they are from?

Aqua Lung Crate

Fri Jun 28, 2013 6:42 pm

I have always thought the La Spiro technique crate for gear was cool. You know, tank, fins, etc. all in one box. Recently I tore down some shelves in my shop and decided to "re-purpose" the wood into a tank/gear crate. Here's my prototype effort featuring my 59' Pico reg and some gear.

Nice job, Steve. Those would stack pretty good for storage when you make more.

Thanks! Everything fits snug and in place and yes, they stack well. If I make another it will be in my brother in laws cabinet shop vs. my table saw. I have dimensions if anyone wants them.

Well I've been wanting to get a hold of a Spiro Royal Mistral with the black and gold label for some time. I finally did in beautiful condition but unfortunately discovered one of the parts missing that is not readily available. Luckily I was able to get a hold of that final part and now have a Spiro Royal ready to get wet when the weather warms up.

Here's my new child ready for his first day of school:

New duckbill, new o-rings, second hand hose size adapters so it will take VDH hoses, new VDH hoses, wagon wheels and mouthpiece.

With luck, I will test this Sunday or Monday...

That's a nice collection that you have acquired in just a year. I particularly like the Essgee Mistral. :D

My set of twin 50s came out great! Thank you Allen for my "Big Mike" sized harness! It's awesome. Thank you to everyone on the board who helped me with my project, It started off as twin steel 72's but the USD liner issue forced me to go with aluminum 50's. Looking forward to Sand Dog!
