New UDT Duck Feet

Thu Nov 17, 2005 9:33 am

I just ran across this information that I thought I had lost. A year or so ago I was talking on line with Greg Deet I believe his name is. He was one of the guys responsible for getting the UDT Ducks made again. Here are some links to some info he sent me. Dan sells them on his site and I have a pair I've used a few times and they are great. I have a picture of some really cool clear duckfeet prototypes if I can just find it....Anyhow, Enjoy.

I'd say those are the ones.

Dan at Vintage Scuba Supply sells them for less money than that site and he is one of us. I got mine from hi. I have an older pair that is gum rubber but I rarely use them. My opinion is that the UDT fins are the most powerful fina vailable, it can do any kick the Jetfin can do. The only drawback is the narrow foot pocket wil not allow the use of boots beyond fins socks of say about 3MM---at least for me. AND, for me that is no problem because I don't wear heavy hiking boots when I dive anyways. You must wear a bootie or fin sock otherwise the top of your toesies will get rubbed raw.
