“La Spiro” CG-45 on EBay!

Tue Feb 13, 2018 8:04 am

First one I’ve ever seen on eBay. Looks like a ‘48-49 model.
I’m no expert on these but I know it will sell far out of my price range.
Pretty cool though.

Over $1,000 already. What is something like this worth?

I'd expect it to at least double that. Only take two people that have to have it

This one is a SA label so past May 1951, I will ask my friend Lucadibiza what the "M" after the number stands for.
It is already at 1800 usd -out of my league...
Cheers

After my first post I did find some more information regarding dates and label changes. Seems you are right. Thank you for the info. If you do find out any more about it please share here. I’m sure others here know a bit about them but I’m fascinated with it and know very little.

You can have a look at www.spiro-vintage.com from my friend Luca who has gathered a huge amount on information about Spiro in general and CG45 in particular.
You can also have a look at what I have been posting about my CG45 restauración in my blog www.whatmattersiswater.com
Cheers!!
