More than once I've had to send an E-mail to a new customers letting them know that they don't have what they think they have....And in some cases it's not ever going to do what you thought it was going to do.....
Doing it right should include some common sense, not just blindly following specs and instructions. .Gary D, AWAP on SB

The seller also has a Mistral reg with a DA label. Someone got them mixed up! Would be a pain to remedy considering the C-clips.

Well lair liar might just be the correct interpretation, below are my email to them and the response. As of this morning it has not changed.

His/her response.

Thanks for the info. I'll post so all potential bidders can see. Thanks again.

My email to him/her
FYI, this is NOT a Mistral. I know that is what the label says but the rear views shows that is actually a DA Aquamaster with a Mistral front can(and label).

I restore these old regs on a regular basis and it is not unusual for mismatched parts to be used to complete a reg.

Drado, I think that is actually a DA in the second ad. If you look at the other pics in the same ad you can see the Hookah port. It may be hidden behind the yoke in the one pic.

Herman, at least you tried. I see there are already 2 bids on the "Mistral."

As I recall, those Mistral/DA hybrids cost like 7 times the normal rate to service. Something about the second stage blow-by HP flow diverter adjustment screw requiring a special tool that Herman doesn't make anymore. :D

Well, Herman told him and he did not seem to update his auction yet, so I guess he did fib, eh.

By Jove, I looked at the ad again, and you're right! Mea culpa.
