What did my hesitation just cost me?

Tue Jun 26, 2018 9:39 pm

About an hour ago I had just finished reading bedtime stories to my kid. I sent him off to go find his mother for the usual goodnight hug which meant I had a minute or two to check eBay. The second listing that popped up was a mixed lot of old scuba gear with a green label Braxton ave double hose mixed in. The photos where terrible but the reg looked in good shape. There was a buy it now price of $99. Right then, my kid showed back up so I tucked him in. As soon as I closed his door, I got back on eBay and the listing was gone.
My question to you guys is how much does a “barn fresh” green label normally go for? I get the feeling I missed a good deal but I’m relatively new to the community (I’m rebuilding my first Mistral and have a aqua master hidden in my closet as my next project) and have not seen one for sale before.

You got to tuck your kid in for bed and someone else bought an old hunk of brass. You didn’t miss anything.
I saw that too though. It went really fast.

Just remember, an old regulator will never love you.

Actually, there have been times in my two hose past that I wish I would have hesitated.
Fear not, there will be more!

Bill, I almost spit my drink out when I read your reply! :D :D
Note to self, must read the forum with an empty mouth.
Don't be disappointed, another opportunity will come along!

Mike, I too learned the hard way not to eat or drink while reading the forum. There's a lot of humor some days.
