DA Navy / Broxton IP Gauge

Fri Dec 30, 2016 10:59 pm

I have had a couple of people ask me about making a DA/ Broxton IP gauge. I had made one in the past but it was a real pain to make, mainly because of the vent valve I had to make for it. Recently I was ask again and it occurred to me to simply use a standard second stage and hose that the user supplied. So, here is what I have come up with. The horseshoe and LP orifice is removed from the regulator and the IP gauge is screwed in place. The price will be $25 in the new catalog which I hope to have available very shortly.

Cool. I've got a couple of Navy's to rebuild, so this will be helpful!

Good to hear. I recently tested it on a couple of regs and it works well. You can use it with the cans on or off. It will be in the 2017 catalog with a couple of other new tools. I need to proof read it one more time and get it off to Bryan. If anyone wants a catalog ( PDF sent via email) or the IP gauge, drop me an email at [email protected]
