Healthways singlehose regs / serial numbers

Sat Jul 30, 2016 10:02 am

Hi Folks,

I am still working on the history of Scubapro and am now doing research on the Healthways Scubapro regs. Who has such a reg ("J" or "300")? What serial number does it have?

They should have a serial number by Healthways. I don´t understand their system by now. You could help to inteprete those numbers.... If you have a Healthways reg with serial number on the front plate - could you take a picture of this reg (first and second stage)? So we could see if there is any serial number system or if they just set number by number without regarding what regulator type it was.

Thanks for your assistance!

Frank

Thanks Bryan,

Serial numbers of true Healthways (without the Spro "S") are welcome too.....

Is it only Js and 300s that you're interested in Frank. I have at least one of each and several Scubairs as well.

thanks
frank

btw: purchased the complete healthways collection from seastar.com. So there are a lot of doubles now in my collection. If you are looking for a special healthways reg - let me know, I can possibly help....

Frank,

Once I am over my hatred of online photo hosting services I may once again add pictures to forums. As it is I've lost countless hours and links to my photos thanks to photobucket. Five of my HW SH regulators have serial numbers. Four are on the cover and one (Scubair B) stamped into the chrome. Those without apparent serial numbers include My Gold label 300, my Airflo and a Scubair J. The J has the previous owners name, year it was purchased, and the dive shop where it was purchased stenciled inside the second stage. Here are my complete regs with serial numbers.

Scubair Diaphragm 1st stage Upstream red label blue bodied 2nd 10301

Scuba Star 1st stage Upstream blue label 2nd 13459

Scubair Diaphragm 1st stage Upstream red label 2nd 17272

Scubair Auto-Reserve Piston 1st Downstream 2nd Red Scubair label 40381

Scubair Balanced Piston 1st stage Downstream 2nd Green Scubair “B” label 502455

Don't know if this helps or not but I have a Scubapro 108 here for service. It has the dual exhaust diaphragm like the Healthways. Serial number is 930503 I can post pictures if you need them. Thank you
