Voit MR 12 diaphragm ?

Can someone point in the direction of where to order a Mares abyss 2nd stage diaphragm. It's the one that is supposed to work in a Voit MR 12. I couldn't find it in the VDH store.

Any Mares dealer can order it for you....now if they will or not is another issue - the old "can't sell you parts" BS. And if they do, don't be in any hurry, it has taken me 6 months to get that part.. Mares appearently uses row boats to deliver parts from Italy. They are very nice regs once you get them rebuilt. I have a couple on my to do list.

I believe that the current Abyss second stage diaphragm is the same. I got some from a local Mares dealer without a problem, but now it seems that they may be closing.

If you can't get the parts locally, let me know and I will check around here.

Thanks guys. Without a dive shop in Sitka, and no way of getting off the island in an inexpensive manner, I'll need to make some calls to a couple Seattle dive shops.

If I can't find one, I may be calling you for help.

Mares appearently uses row boats to deliver parts from Italy.

That is actually a major improvement. I am convinced that their shipping department used to just put the parts in a bottle and throw them in the ocean, with the hope that the currents would deliver them to America.
