1 - CHARACTERISTICS

  • Thanks to the non-return valves, very returned of water in the pressure reducer is now impossible. When one leaves the "AQUASTOP" in water, and when one includes it in the mouth, there is to empty only the interior volume of the end,
  • The flexibility and the form covering the mouth, ensure an excellent sealing and makes more pleasant the port of this end.
  • The skirt of mouth related to the support of neck gives a great safety and removes the tiredness of reserve.
  • The thickness of the hooks is large, in way H of giving the best performance to the pressure reducer.
  • The arm of lever, of the axis end to the axis passing by the hooks, is very reduced, decreasing tiredness considerably, in particular in the case of traction by an engine, etc.
  • The orientation of the exits, twinned with spiral tubes with jointed whorls, avoids the "horns" of the pipes and shortens the distance between the end and the pressure reducer.
  • The unit is made up only of parts out of rubber and plastics resisting sea water and hydrocarbons.
  • The "AQUASTOP" can replace the traditional t-pieces of end immediately. It can be assembled with all the pressure reducers with 2 pipes.

2 - USE

  • Before putting the bindings on the spiral tubes, to check that the "AQUASTOP" is assembled in the good direction, in blowing inside moderately:
    1. a) on the one hand, the air must escape by the valve of expiry or "duck nozzle", in the case of the "MISTRAL".
    2. b) in addition, this air should not have any influence on the membrane of the pressure reducer, visible by the open works of the case.
    3. c) One can remove the thin strap of neck by cutting out the cover-lip along the end, with scissors, and adjust in the same way the lip of mouth.

3 MAINTENANCE

1) Démontage

a) To remove the plastic collars by means of a noncutting spatula (to long the collars can strongly adhere on rubber). b) The remainder is dismounted easily by extracting the parts like stoppers.

2) Remontage

a) If there were change of valves, to check before giving the plastic collars:

1) that the supports of valves are well placed in their housing.

2) once 2 trumpets gone up, that the interior pads of the body rubber are well in place in their housing, on the known as trumpets.

3) the correct direction of the valves, by using the method recommended higher in "USE".

b) For the installation of the collars, to soak them as a preliminary in ebullient water, one minute, and to carry out their assembly using a not very thick spatula, without lengthening them. Once set up, the collars should be able to move only with difficulty.
